The season two premiere of Yung Miami’s *Caresha Please* podcast was filled with shocking revelations and confidences, as the former City Girls star unexpectedly broke her silence on her past relationship with controversial music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, as well as other controversies.
Yung Miami, real name Caresha Brownlee, discussed all of this year’s controversies with special guest and longtime friend, rapper Saucy Santana. The podcast officially kicked off with the City Girls rapper addressing her mental health, expressing feelings of isolation and a lack of support from the people she looked to for support amidst all the controversies involving her ex-boyfriend Combs.

“So mentally, one moment I’m happy, one moment I’m sad,” she said. “One moment I’m like, ‘Fuck this shit.’ Then the next moment I look at my kids, and I’m like, I didn’t bring us this far to go back.”

**Yung Miami on Her Relationship and Breakup With Diddy**
Throughout the podcast, Brownlee discussed how she feels fans blame her for how she portrays herself in her relationship with Combs, saying that her fans feel she has centered her City Girls image more around Combs than the group itself.
“I never thought I was bigger than the show,” she said, while insisting she was still very much involved with the group and releasing music with her former rap partner, JT, real name Jatavia Johnson.

Fans also criticized her silence in the face of numerous accusations against Combs for various sex and drug crimes. Many believed Brownlee must have known about the crimes, but she denied the accusations.

“I can’t speak to those accusations because I wasn’t there at the time,” Brownlee said. “I don’t know that person, and that wasn’t my experience.”
She added that she had not been a victim of domestic violence by the rapper, and that she does not tolerate it, having survived two past relationships where she had been a victim.

Finally, Brownlee expressed that the relationship was mutually beneficial, but it wasn’t based solely on professional interests. She admitted that there were things she wanted to learn from the mogul, but that they were in love. Brownlee claims she walked away from the relationship because she needed to recharge and didn’t want to be involved in the allegations.

**Where are City Girls today?**
“It’s not all roses, but it’s not all doom and gloom either,” Brownlee said when asked about her relationship with former bandmate JT.
According to Brownlee, fans only saw part of what happened when the two got into an altercation on X (formerly Twitter) where Brownlee accused JT of “sneaking around.”
Unsurprisingly, Brownlee hinted that there was drama behind the scenes. The distance between the coasts wasn’t the only thing keeping them apart. Brownlee reveals that JT was secretly managing projects she had no idea about, and the bond that once shone between them was starting to fade. It showed in their studio sessions and in interviews — they grew apart.
“I don’t know what broke us up, but I just felt like when we got back together, it didn’t connect anymore.”
Despite the differences in their relationship, Brownlee said they will always consider each other family.
