WWE SMACKDOWN has literally exploded with the return of Roman Reigns! The tribal chief appeared completely unexpectedly during the May 9 episode and brutally attacked Bron Breakker, making it clear that his reign is not over.

The show was almost over when Bron Breakker, along with Paul Heyman, was preparing to close the night with a cocky promo about the future of “the new era of power.” The crowd began to boo… and then the unthinkable happened.

Roman Reigns’ music hit! The stadium collapsed. The camera showed Heyman completely frozen. Roman walked slowly toward the ring with a cold stare, no microphone, no words. Bron tried to surprise him with an attack… but it was useless.

Reigns blocked the attempt, threw him into the ring post, hit a Superman Punch , and finally hit a devastating Spear that shook the ring. The crowd chanted “Welcome back!” as Reigns wordlessly raised his hand to the sky.

Paul Heyman fled down the ramp without looking back, clearly terrified. The message was clear: Reigns is back, and he’s coming to reclaim his throne.

Backstage, CM Punk and Jey Uso could be seen watching the scene on a screen, surprised but attentive. Could a new alliance against Heyman’s faction be forming?

Triple H hasn’t made any official statements yet, but according to internal WWE sources, this rivalry will play out throughout the summer, possibly leading up to SummerSlam.
