Caitlin Clark, the Indiana Fever guard, is one of the brightest prodigies in basketball today. The legacy she has built in the state of Iowa will remain eternal as she wraps up her collegiate career.

During her time with the Hawkeyes, Clark not only became the NCAA all-time leading scorer but also led the team to two consecutive Final Four appearances—a feat Iowa had only achieved once before (in 1993).

She won both the Naismith College Basketball Player of the Year and the Wooden Award while becoming the university’s all-time leading scorer. Just under a year after being selected No. 1 overall by the Fever, the university is set to retire her No. 22 jersey on Sunday, Feb. 2, when Iowa takes on No. 4 USC.
In honor of this monumental moment, Wilson Basketball has announced a special, customized basketball that will be released to commemorate Clark’s jersey retirement. In the past, when Wilson released Caitlin Clark custom basketballs, they sold out within minutes. During her rookie season with the Indiana Fever, several of her special edition basketballs hit the market, and given the significance of this milestone for Clark and Iowa City, this release is expected to sell out just as quickly.
Clark’s influence on women’s basketball has been tremendous, and the excitement surrounding her return to the court for her second WNBA season continues to build. After a standout Rookie of the Year campaign, all eyes will be on her as she seeks to continue her success in year two.
